Did you know that visually-aesthetic surroundings and pleasing décor have been shown to improve Social, Emotional, Intellectual and Spiritual wellness??? I’ll take a quick guess that this bit of interesting fact is not within your reach. In today’s blog post, we would be treating ourselves to a visual experience by virtue of “The 21st century living room. So I won’t be saying too much but will definitely be showing us a lot.
Gone are the days when we modelled our living rooms to simply be a place to be instead of the bedroom. Today, our living rooms have become reflections of who we are and what we want to tell people around us. Our living room showcases our taste, expresses our sentiments and tells a story about us.
Oh! And yes, our living rooms tell our friends and families if we have hopped on the train to the 21st century living room or still dwelling in the good old days of white and black television sets, gloss/emotion paints and rubber tiles! So really, we want to be careful in our decorating or the hands we employ to help us transform our space.
